Inside: These pumpkin patch brownies are absolutely delicious and make the perfect fall treat for your next Halloween party!
Pumpkin Patch Brownies
Who doesn’t love a good brownie?! I could eat half a pan of brownies myself, haha! They are the perfect easy dessert and are always a crowd pleaser.
These pumpkin patch brownies are a great way to spruce up your usual pan of brownies for your next Halloween party (or just cause!). Because who really needs an excuse to make brownies?
What You Need For Pumpkin Patch Brownies
- box of brownie mix – my favorite is Ghirardelli – they always turn out tasting ‘homemade’
- one recipe for Brownie Fudge Frosting via tarateaspoon.com (seriously, the BEST ever and so easy)
- Brach’s Mellowcreme Pumpkins
- white chocolate chips
- green food coloring
- small zip-lock bag
- fall festive sprinkles (we found ours at Hobby Lobby this year – but Target usually has some too!)
How to Make Pumpkin Patch Brownies
Bake your favorite brownie mix according to package directions and let cool.
Make the Brownie Fudge Frosting recipe and frost the brownies with it once they are cool.
Add your candy pumpkins onto the frosted brownies – don’t follow a pattern – just place them at random – and some tipped on their sides too – resembling a pumpkin patch.
Melt white chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl in 30 second intervals until melted and mix well.
Add some green food coloring and mix well until you reach desired shade of green.
Spoon the melted green chocolate into a small zip-lock and cut a teeny corner piece.
Pipe the green melted chocolate among the pumpkins to create a ‘vine’ in the pumpkin patch. This doesn’t have to be perfect!
Lastly, add some fun and festive sprinkles on top. We used some leaves and some sugary green sprinkles too.
Cut into squares and enjoy!
I have to give proper credit where it’s due – my husband made this special treat for us this year! He kept bragging to me that he’s now a ‘Pinterest Dad’, haha! I wasn’t feeling well the weekend I had these planned and thanks to my husband, he totally stepped up and wowed me with his baking and brownie-decorating skills. (Thanks John!! You’re the best!)
