Inside: I share some of our all time favorite toddler books with you this month. Every month I feature a list of current favorite toddler books.
I’ve got another round up of favorite toddler books for you this month!
This month I wanted to feature some of my toddler’s ALL TIME favorite books. They are books that you really cannot go wrong with and are perfect for young toddlers > early preschoolers. 🤩
All Time Favorite Toddler Books
1. Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? Bill Martin Jr. / Eric Carle
Who doesn’t love this classic? Toddlers love books that rhyme and this one is PERFECT for teaching language. Simply leave off the end of a sentence for your toddler to finish: ‘brown bear, brown bear, what do you _____’ or leave off the animal or color: ‘I see a red ____’. Pause and wait for your toddler to fill in the blank!
2. Llama Llama Time to Share – Anna Dewdney
You really can’t go wrong with any Llama Llama book – whether they are the baby board books or these longer hardcover stories. They always have a good message and they rhyme as well!
3. There’s a Bear on My Chair – Ross Collins
For whatever reason, my toddler is obsessed with this one and could read it over and over. He always cracks up at the ending!
4. Little Owl’s Night – Divya Srinivasan
These are not only a toddler favorite – but a mom favorite for me too! The Little Owl stories are too cute, we love them all. It’s a great way to talk about nature too.
5. Bear Feels Scared – Karma Wilson / Jane Chapman
Another series favorite – every single one of these Bear stories are fantastic. Each of them has a good message about friendship and they are entertaining.
6. Giraffes Can’t Dance – Giles Andreae / Guy Parker-Rees
This one is super popular, but totally worth mentioning. Not only is the story great – but so is the message. My toddler has loved this one since before I can remember.
