Inside: I share some of our favorite toddler books. Each month I share a round up of our current favorite toddler books.
Reading Every Day Is So Important
Once a month I like to share some favorite toddler books with you. I’m a huge advocate for reading with your babies, toddlers, or children EVERY SINGLE DAY.
It is such a crucial habit for learning and for instilling a love for reading at an early age. The benefits are innumerable and it also helps forge a special bond with your child.
This month, I’ve rounded up six of our current favorite books. My son is just over 2 years old and is quite obsessed with each of these books right now.

Favorite Toddler Books
Here are 6 of our current favorites👉🏻
1. Goodnight, Goodnight Construction Site by Sherri Duskey Rinker and Tom Lichtenhel
This one is so catchy and perfect for bedtime. Perfect for any construction truck lovers!
2. The Gruffalo by Julia Donaldson
Okay, this is even MY favorite. It’s so funny and the rhymes are too cute. My toddler cracks up every time we read it. It’s repetitive pattern is perfect for engaging in vocabulary with your toddler.
3. Llama Llama Loves To Read by Anna Dewdney
We have been huge fans of the Llama Llama books since my kiddo was a baby. I love the short board books for babies, but these longer hardcover stories are so well-written. They always have good life lessons in each book.
Goodness, this one is so much fun! We always crack up together reading this one. It is interactive in that it gives you instructions for each page, such as blowing on the page or shaking the whole book. My toddler loves to do all the steps and giggle like crazy.
5. Bear Feels Sick by Karma Wilson and Jane Chapman
Ya’ll, we are totally obsessed with all the bear books in this series. They are all super cute and have so many good lessons about friendship in each story. You’ve totally got to check them out!
6. I Love You, Daddy by Jilliam Harker
I like to make sure we have both mommy and daddy books around. This daddy book is the sweetest. It’s about a daddy bear encouraging and cheering on baby bear as he navigates through new obstacles.
Happy reading!
