Inside: I share our favorite toddler Halloween books with you. These are ones that you could read over and over to get into the Halloween spirit!

Halloween is Coming!
I’m all about getting festive and into the holiday spirit – no matter what the holiday is! Reading special holiday-themed books is a super easy way to get your kids talking about and excited for any upcoming holiday.
This month, we are reading lots of Halloween books, so I wanted to put together a list of fun Halloween themed books that you can read with your toddlers.
Favorite Toddler Halloween Books
1. Big Pumpkin – Erica Silverman

A story about a witch determined to make pumpkin pie and her spooky friends that band together to help. A fun repetitive style story that introduces your toddler to all the spooky Halloween characters.
2. Ten Timid Ghosts – Jennifer O’Connell

A sing-songy book about a witch scaring ghosts out of their house. A fun rhyming and counting book.
3. The Spooky Wheels On the Bus – J. Elizabeth Mills + Ben Mantle

A fun Halloween spin on the classic song. Love the illustrations in this one!
4. Corduroy’s Best Halloween Ever – Don Freeman + Lisa McCue

I’m a sucker for Corduroy books and this one is too cute. Corduroy is throwing a Halloween party and has to find the perfect Halloween costume. A cute story about Halloween traditions and friendship.
5. Ten Little Pumpkins – Make Believe Ideas Ltd.

Love this illustrated counting book! The front cover has a sequins pumpkin that my toddler loves!
6. The Night Before Halloween – Natasha Wing + Cynthia Fisher

Easily a favorite – told in the rhyming style of ‘The Night Before Christmas’ but with a fun Halloween twist! We love it so much we are going to check out her other ‘The Night Before ___’ holiday books!
I hope you enjoy these spooky Halloween favorites as much as we do!
