March Nature Calendar
March is here at last! I think we can all agree in being more than ready for spring’s arrival at this point.
I’m going to keep this post short and sweet this month as, thanks to norovirus hitting our household this month, I am a bit behind on this post. Yet another reason we are MORE than ready for an end to winter.
If you’re new to my nature calendar’s – let me fill you in. I offer these as freebies each month and they are full of nature facts, meaningful activity ideas, book recommendations, weekly poetry tea time suggestions, and ways to give back to the community.
Usually, I will link all activities, books, and sources for nature facts – but this month, I’ll just be linking book recommendations as I’m very short on time (I’m sure you all can relate to seasons like this).
I always say to use these nature calendars more like a menu of options… it’d be a bit much to do it ALL each month. Pick and choose what serves your family, enjoy it, and leave the rest! I hope this inspires you to do fun activities, read wonderful books, and learn about our natural world. Happy March, friends!
