Halloween Apple Sticks Treat
These Halloween Apple Sticks are super easy to create and make such a yummy snack or treat for kids (I mean, for mom too!). What better way to eat up all those apples picked at your local apple orchard this year?!
What You Need For Halloween Apple Sticks Treat
- 1-2 Apples (depends on how many you are serving)
- cake pop sticks
- Halloween sprinkles (I found a bunch at Target!)
- favorite apple dip:
- peanut butter, white chocolate chips, milk chocolate chips, etc.
- favorite apple toppings:
- mini m&ms, mini chocolate chips, or just sprinkles
- bowls for melting apple dips in microwave
Directions
Choose your favorite apple dips and put them in separate microwave safe bowls and set aside for later. I used white chocolate chips, peanut butter, and milk chocolate chips. The PB was my favorite!
Choose your favorite apple toppings and sprinkles and set them aside for later. I preferred using sprinkles the most!
Slice your apple into wedges, core removed.
Push a cake pop stick through the bottom of each apple slice to create an apple ‘lollipop’.
Once your apples are prepped, microwave your apple dips in 30 second intervals, mixing in between, until each are melted.
Dip each apple slice into your preferred apple dip, coating about 3/4 of each apple slice. You could double up on dips and drizzle one dip over the other. For example, I liked dipping in PB and drizzling melted chocolates over top. Yum!
Then, sprinkle each dipped apple slice in your preferred toppings (like sprinkles!).
Let harden and cool for a couple of minutes and then enjoy!
