Holiday Gift Guide: Babies 0-12 Months

Gift giving for babies does not at all need to be complicated – chances are your 0-12 month old probably already has pretty much everything they need thanks to your baby shower, planning during pregnancy, or older siblings offering all their hand-me-downs.

But if you want to give a couple of new gifts, I’ve put together a nice big list of age-appropriate baby items and toys for Christmas. I’ve also included some Christmas-themed gifts – these are things you may want to buy and give before Christmas – such as a special Christmas ornament or stocking.

When shopping for babies, remember, they don’t need a lot! Personally, I like to get one ‘special gift’, a bunch of books, and a couple stocking stuffers for this age. In our house, we’ve always done the Pottery Barn Anywhere Chair as their ‘special gift’ for their first Christmas. It’s personalized and a gift that will last for years and years as they get older. And while they are young – it looks so cute in the nursery – we even use it for monthly photo updates.
