This delicious fruit-topped bagel is sure to be a new favorite lunch option for your toddler (and mom too).
I’m obsessed with this lunch idea.
I have to admit that I’m just as obsessed with this lunch as my kids are. It’s one of my favorite quick lunches (and snacks!) to throw together.
Typically, I meal prep twice a week, but there’s always a day in between meal prep that requires a freshly made lunch: enter Strawberry-Banana Bagel.
I don’t like to mess around in the kitchen a whole lot beyond my two meal prep days because I’m too busy chasing two kids around. That’s why I love meal options like this one, that can be thrown together super fast.
Ingredients
- thin/skinny bagel (any flavor!)
- cream cheese (any flavor!)
- sliced fruit such as bananas and strawberries
Instructions
- Toast your bagel (if preferred).
- Spread with your favorite cream cheese.
- Top with sliced fruit.
- Enjoy!
This lunch idea is super versatile.
What is awesome about this lunch is that you can totally change up the entire outcome by swapping out flavors.
Instead of choosing a plain bagel and plain cream cheese, you could try a blueberry bagel and strawberry cream cheese to switch things up.
You could even go for savory by picking an everything bagel with chive and onion cream cheese and top it with sliced veggies instead of fruit. The possibilities are endless!
Don’t forget to save this idea for later!
