Turkey Apple Slice Treat
Oh my goodness, this was a huge favorite for my toddler! I put together this fun Thanksgiving treat during snack time and he got such a kick out of seeing the turkey. He kept laughing and saying ‘it’s a turkey!’. He absolutely devoured this super yummy and healthy turkey snack.
Ingredients for Turkey Apple Slice Treat
- Red Apple
- Yellow Apple
- Green Apple, optional
- 1/3 Cup Peanut Butter, creamy
- 1 Cup Vanilla Greek Yogurt
- Pretzel Rods
- Chocolate Chips
- Candy Corn
Instructions for Turkey Apple Slice Treat
- Make peanut butter yogurt dip by mixing peanut butter and yogurt together until smooth.
- Scoop some of the yogurt dip into a small round Ramekin.
- Add a candy corn nose.
- Add 2 chocolate chip eyes.
- Place yogurt dip bowl on a serving tray or cutting board.
- Add 2 pretzel rod legs.
- Slice your apples into wedges.
- Beginning on the outer top layer, fan the apple slices around the turkey like they were feathers, alternating colors here and there.
- Repeat for the inner layer of apples closest to the yogurt dip bowl.
- Adjust slices as needed to resemble feathers.
- Enjoy!
